Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Jang worked in commercial real estate, gaining hands-on experience in development, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and transactional operations. This business-focused background gives him a practical, results-driven perspective that continues to benefit his clients, particularly in real estate and contract-related matters. His understanding of both the legal and commercial sides of complex transactions allows him to navigate disputes with clarity and efficiency.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from UCLA, where he developed a strong analytical foundation and commitment to justice. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School’s rigorous SCALE program, completing an accelerated two-year curriculum and earning recognition for academic excellence through the Wildman Schumacher and Leichtman Levine Scholarships. During law school, he completed a highly selective internship at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, a private equity firm managing approximately $10 billion in assets, where he was the sole intern selected after a competitive multi-round process.

After passing the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, Mr. Jang began his legal career at a Century City law firm handling complex consumer protection litigation before entering public service as a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles Counties. He prosecuted hundreds of serious felony cases in the Preliminary Hearing Unit at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, achieving a 90 percent conviction rate, while also serving in a supervisory and mentorship role. Today, he is the founder of Jang Trial Law Firm, focusing on criminal defense, personal injury, and commercial real estate matters, and advocating for clients with experience, insight, and unwavering dedication.
